The Shippey Endurance Runs
The Shippey Endurance Runs is a multi-distance trail running event held at the Beaumont Scout Reservation near High Ridge, Missouri on January 16-17, 2027. The event offers several distances and newly added 50K and 25K options for 2027. The 50K has an 11 hour cutoff and the 25K has a 7 hour cutoff. Longer events list cutoffs expressed as total allowable time, for example 100M and 100K have a 34 hour cutoff.
The course alternates direction by year, running clockwise on odd years and counterclockwise on even years. Terrain includes steep climbs, ridgelines, steep descents, creek bottoms, pine floor and jeep roads, with approximately 75% single or double track and 25% jeep roads. Two indoor aid stations will be on course and are visited multiple times on looped sections. Drop bags are allowed with size limits; crew access inside one aid station is limited. Pacers must register and pacer rules vary by distance, with pacers not permitted for some shorter events.
Onsite indoor camping and dining hall space are offered for limited numbers of participants as part of registration, with restrictions on popups, open fires and camper trailers. The event follows ATRA event standards. Registration for the event closes January 13, 2027.
