The Great Pumpkin Run for Bennett 5k
The Great Pumpkin Run for Bennett 5k is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 in Crowley, Louisiana. The event is held at Levy Park, 403 East 3rd Street, Crowley, LA 70526. It features a single distance of 5 kilometers offered in two entry categories: youth and adult. The youth category is open to ages 1 to 14 and the adult category is open to ages 15 to 100.
Proceeds will benefit a child with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD) and the INADCure Foundation. A portion of funds will support the family to purchase medical equipment and make home modifications. A larger portion will be directed to the INADCure Foundation to support research, including development of gene therapy as a possible treatment for INAD, a condition that currently has no treatment options.
The event program includes community activities in addition to the 5K such as food, activities for children, a bake sale, auction and raffle items, and music. Packet pickup takes place at Levy Park on the morning of the race. Registration opens July 14, 2026. Early registration prices listed in the event information include youth and adult rates that cover a race shirt while later and same day registration may not include a shirt.
