The Great Pumpkin Run 5K
The event on October 24, 2026 takes place at Levy Park, 403 East 3rd Street, Crowley, LA 70526. It is organized as a community 5K run and walk to raise funds for a child diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy and for the INADCure Foundation.
The program includes two entry categories: youth ages 0 to 14 and ages 15 and older, each covering a 5K distance (3.1 miles). Early registration pricing through September 23 includes a race shirt for youth at $25 and for adults at $35. From September 24 through race day the fees increase to $30 for youth and $40 for adults. Same day registration is available but a race shirt is not guaranteed. Packet pickup is held at Levy Park on the morning of the race.
A portion of funds raised will help the family purchase medical equipment and make home modifications. A large portion will support the INADCure Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit working with researchers on gene therapy research for Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy.
