Knights Dash 5K
Knights Dash 5K is a fundraising running event for Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School held on October 3, 2026 in Scott, Louisiana. The run begins and ends at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 1110 Old Spanish Trail. After the run the event continues on school grounds at 1301 Old Spanish Trail with a Festival of Knights that includes a black pot cook off, vendor fair, carnival games, fun jumps, and a petting zoo.

- Virtual 5K or 1 Mile virtual race option
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. Fee categories include 5K adults 13 and older $40 and children 12 and under $35; 1 Mile adults 13 and older $30 and children 12 and under $25; virtual runner $20. Register by August 28, 2026 to receive a complimentary T shirt. Virtual runners do not receive a T shirt or festival entry.
Event rules note that jogging strollers only are allowed in the 5K and regular strollers or wagons may be used in the 1 Mile Fun Run. Packet pickup is at SPPS, 1301 Old Spanish Trail, on October 2. Age groups span from 1-14 up to 70 plus. 5K awards include top overall male and female and first through third in each age group. 1 Mile awards recognize top overall male and female for age 14 and under. The event has a no refund policy and registrations are treated as donations if a participant cannot attend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
