St. Jo's Jog
The St. Jo's Jog features two separate running events held in Lafayette, Louisiana. Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5 km running race
- 1 mile fun run
The routes for both races start and finish at the Parish Life Center. Registration for the event includes a race shirt for those who sign up by April 18; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations placed after this date. All proceeds from the event support the development and local outreach ministries of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The 5 km race includes a competitive element with awards presented to the first place overall male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are provided for the top runner in several age categories, ranging from under 9 to 70 and older. The 1 mile fun run offers awards for the top three finishers across the line.
Registered participants may collect their race packets at the Church Hall on the Thursday and Friday preceding the event. No refunds are available once a registration has been completed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
