The Races
The Great Benicia Run: Strait to the Finish offers four events:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- Kids 1 Mile for ages 7-15
- Kids Mini Run, a 200-meter dash for ages 2-8
A race t-shirt and medal are included with registration, guaranteed for the first 400 registrants. Registration prices increase after February 15, 2026.
Course and Event
The event is based at Benicia First Street Green (90 First Street). The course offers views of the Carquinez Strait and goes through the streets of Benicia. A waterfront expo party is part of the event.
Fundraising Purpose
This is the inaugural fundraiser organized by The Benicia Chamber of Commerce Wellness Alliance and the Rotary Club of Benicia. A portion of registration fees and event profits will support the Benicia Unified School District's STEAM Wheel program, which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
