Oakland Turkey Trot

The 10th Annual Oakland Turkey Trot is a community running event and Festival of Thanks held on November 26, 2026 at Lake Merritt's Eastshore Park, 550 El Embarcadero, Oakland, CA 94610. The event includes a 5K race and a festival atmosphere with art installations and event signage.

The event is organized by a 501c3 organization and benefits the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Grant recipients include Running for a Better Oakland. The organizer provides finisher medals for adults and children and exclusive custom shirts for all events.

The festival features custom art installations by local artists, a photo backdrop, mile markers, and a start line banner. A VIP Village option includes access to a VIP area and a special gift from a presenting sponsor.
