The Great 30A Easter Race
The Great 30A Easter Race takes place in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, within Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The event offers three course options around 7525 W. County Hwy 30A and has been held at Topsail Hill Preserve since 2022.
- Paved Path 5K
- Paved Path 10K
- Trail & Beach 10K
The Paved Path courses are out-and-back routes run entirely on paved surfaces; the 10K repeats the out-and-back twice. These paved courses are described as stroller-friendly. The Trail & Beach 10K is a loop that passes pine forest, beach, and dune lakes. Its surface mix is approximately 2 miles on paved roads, 1.25 miles on sand, and 3 miles on trails, so participants should expect varied footing.
Awards are given to men’s and women’s course winners and runner ups, and the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ for each race. All registered finishers receive a finisher’s medal. Runners who register before the event swag cutoff receive a Great 30A Easter Race coffee mug; unclaimed awards can be shipped at the runner’s expense.
Packet pick-up occurs the day before at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach, 11299 US Hwy 98 E, Inlet Beach, FL 32461. Registration fees are non-refundable; bib transfers to another runner are permitted within the posted transfer period. Animals are not permitted. Strollers and wagons must start at the back of the field. Participants using certified running wheelchairs or adaptive devices should contact organizers before race day to arrange accommodations.
