Event Overview
The Great 30A Easter Race takes place in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, within the boundaries of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Organized by Reefy Running, this event offers participants a variety of course types and distances to choose from during the Easter holiday weekend.
Course Options
Participants can select from three different routes, depending on their preference for terrain and distance:
- Paved Path 5K: A flat, out-and-back route run entirely on a paved surface.
- Paved Path 10K: A double out-and-back course on the same paved surface.
- Trail & Beach 10K: A loop course featuring approximately 2 miles of paved road, 1.25 miles of sand, and 3 miles of trails.
The paved courses are designated as stroller-friendly, though participants with strollers are asked to start at the back of the pack. The Trail & Beach 10K route passes through environments including pines and dune lakes. Due to insurance requirements, animals are not permitted on any of the courses.
Awards and Recognition
All runners who complete their race receive a finisher's medal. Specific awards are provided for the overall male and female winners and runners-up for each course. Additionally, the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, ranging from 10-19 to 70+, receive awards. Participants who register before a specific cutoff date also receive event swag.
Logistics
Packet pick-up is held the day before the race at a local running store in Inlet Beach. The event has a non-refundable registration policy, though bib transfers to other runners are permitted within a specific timeframe before the race.
