The Great 30A Easter Race
The Great 30A Easter Race takes place on March 27, 2027, and has been held within Topsail Hill Preserve State Park since 2022. The event offers three separate courses and awards for top finishers and age-group placings.
Distances offered:
- Paved Path 5K: out-and-back on paved surface.
- Paved Path 10K: repeats the out-and-back twice.
- Trail & Beach 10K: loop route with paved, sand, and trails.
The Paved Path courses run entirely on pavement and follow an out-and-back layout. The organizer notes these courses are stroller-friendly and may be conducive to fast times. The Trail & Beach 10K is a loop that passes through pine forest, dunes, and beach shoreline. Its surfaces are approximately 2 miles on paved roads, about 1.25 miles on sand, and about 3 miles on trails; participants should expect varied footing.
Awards are given to men’s and women’s winners and runner ups for all courses, and the top three finishers in each age group receive awards. All registered participants who cross the finish line receive a finisher’s award.
Packet pick-up is held the day before at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach, 11299 US Hwy 98 E, Inlet Beach, FL 32461. The event’s refund policy states that refunds will not be given if the event is cancelled; in that case, registered participants may collect swag and medals at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach.
