The New Year's Eve Ball Drop event at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, includes a timed 5K run/walk and a 1 mile family fun run/walk that begins when the 5K is complete. The event starts and finishes at Frank Brown Park, 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway.

Registration opens on September 22, 2026. Entry fees are specified as adults 17 and up: $30 early, $35 late; children 16 and under: $25 early, $30 late. A race day NO T-shirt option is available for $30. Registrations received by December 1 will be guaranteed chosen shirt size; youth sizes are available only for participants pre-registered by that date. Race day registration is available but shirt sizes are not guaranteed. No refunds are offered; fees for non-participants will be considered donations to the event charity.
A portion of proceeds will benefit WWII Honor Flights to support travel for veterans to Washington, D.C., and visits to memorials. Electronic timing will be used. Unique overall awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, and all finishers will receive an award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
