The Golden Spike Trail Race takes place on December 6, 2025, at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, Conservation Road, Milton, Ontario. The event offers trail running through forest paths and around Crawford Lake, including boardwalk sections and rugged portions of the Bruce Trail. Proceeds support STAC Hamilton youth programs. The 5K follows a loop that includes boardwalk sections around the lake and technical trail segments. The 10K is two loops of the same course. The 21K includes on-course STAC marshalls and aid station support with Xact Hydration and Nutrition, gummy bears, and fruit. Aid stations are described as offering warm beverages and energy snacks. Limited-edition race merchandise and additional race swag are available for purchase. Sponsors listed include Merrell Canada, XACT Nutrition, and MEC Burlington.
