2026 Good Friday Race
The Good Friday Race is held in Burlington, Ontario, featuring a course along the downtown waterfront. Organized by the Burlington Runners Club, the event utilizes the Burlington Waterfront Trail starting from Spencer Smith Park. The route proceeds west on the trail before turning south toward Burlington Beach.
The event offers several distances for different participation levels:
- 10 km: A double loop of the out and back waterfront course.
- 5 km: A single loop available for both runners and walkers.
- 1 km Kids Bunny Hop: A dedicated route within Spencer Smith Park for children.
This event supports the FAB Foundation, which focuses on helping young girls become strong through physical activity. To promote sustainability, a "Green Bib" option is available for participants who choose to forego a finisher's medal. A bag check service is provided on-site in exchange for a donation to the charity partner.
The course is traffic-free and follows the shoreline of Lake Ontario. For timed results, a 120-minute time limit is in place for the 5 km and 10 km events.
