Event overview
The 2026 Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 at the Discovery Centre, 57 Discovery Dr, Hamilton, ON, Canada. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. If the in-person event cannot proceed as planned, it will be switched to a virtual race; in that case no refunds will be issued but registrants will still receive their race kit and may complete and submit results virtually.

- 5 km, out-and-back
The event includes a finisher medal and race kit items. Early registrants receive a long sleeve technical shirt with men's and women's sizing and two colour options (yellow reflective and navy). Limited event merchandise is available separately.
Registration, logistics and charity details
Virtual entries can be completed between February 26, 2026 and March 31, 2026 and may be tracked with the ASICS Runkeeper app or submitted via the event results page. Race kit pickup is scheduled on March 12 and 13 at the Stoney Creek Running Room (Mountain Locks Plaza, 1791 Stone Church Rd E, Stoney Creek, ON) and on race day at the Discovery Centre, 57 Discovery Dr, Hamilton. Donations support the Mental Health and Addictions Program at Joseph Brant Hospital. Hamilton Food Share will collect non-perishable food at the event; the material states that every CA$1 provides CA$5 worth of healthy food. Tax receipts are issued for donations of CA$20 or more.
