About the race
2026 Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K, branded as Challenge The Cold, is a winter running event in Hamilton, Ontario, staged at The Discovery Centre on Discovery Drive. The in-person races include a 10-kilometre double-loop course and a 5-kilometre out-and-back route, with race kits featuring an ASICS technical shirt and medals, plus limited-edition merchandise. Proceeds support local charities, including Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation and Hamilton Food Share, with donors and volunteers playing a key role in the community-focused effort.
