Frigid 10 km and Frosty 5 km : Hamilton, Ontario
The event features two races organized by VR Pro Inc in Hamilton, Ontario, with both in person and virtual participation options. The distances offered are:
- 10 km double loop course
- 5 km out and back course
The race kit includes a long sleeve technical shirt for early registrants; men's and women's sizing is available and colour options include a yellow reflective 30th anniversary edition and navy. Participants receive a finisher medal. Limited edition merchandise is available for purchase, including a quilted running vest in five colours.
Race kit pickup is available at the Stoney Creek Running Room store and at HMCS STAR on race morning. If the in person event cannot proceed, it will be switched to a virtual race; in that case no refunds will be issued but registrants will still receive their race kit and may submit virtual results.
Virtual participants can track runs with the ASICS Runkeeper app and submit results to the event leaderboard; virtual entrants also receive a finisher shirt and medal. Donations support the Mental Health and Addictions Program at Joseph Brant Hospital, with tax receipts issued for donations of $20 or more.
