Course format and virtual details The in-person 10K is a 10 km double loop and the 5K is an out-and-back course. The virtual races can be completed between February 20 and March 31, 2027. Virtual participants can track activity with the ASICS Runkeeper app or submit results manually; virtual finishers receive a finisher certificate. Virtual entry price listed at CA$68.73.

Race kit and medals Race kits include a long sleeve technical shirt (men's and women's sizing) and medal options, including a spinner medal. Kits can be mailed or picked up during scheduled kit pickup dates at the Stoney Creek Running Room store (Mountain Locks Plaza, 1791 Stone Church Rd E, Stoney Creek) and at race day pickup at HMCS STAR / Williams Fresh Cafe, 47 Discovery Drive, Hamilton.

Event policies and charity If the in-person event cannot proceed, it will be switched to a virtual race; in that case entry fees will not be refunded but race kits will still be provided. Fundraising and donations support the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation Mental Health and Addictions program and Hamilton Food Share. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the race.
