About the race
Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K take place in Hamilton, Ontario at Williams Fresh Cafe, 47 Discovery Drive, on Sunday, March 7, 2027. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and supports local charities.
Available distances:
- 10 km double loop route
- 5 km out-and-back route
In-person entries include a race kit. Race kit pickup is offered at the Stoney Creek Running Room Store (Mountain Locks Plaza, 1791 Stone Church Rd E, Stoney Creek) and at HMCS STAR (650 Catherine St. N). If the in-person event cannot proceed as planned it will be switched to a virtual race; no refunds will be issued in that case, but registrants will still receive their race kit and can complete and submit their results.
Early registrants receive a long sleeve technical shirt in the race kit, with men's and women's sizing and limited quantities. Two colour options are listed for race apparel, and a finisher medal is provided. Additional Frigid/Frosty merchandise is available for purchase, including a quilted running vest offered in five colours.
Virtual participants can track and submit results using the ASICS Runkeeper app, may have race kits mailed or picked up, and will receive a finisher certificate when results are posted.
Donations support the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation Mental Health and Addictions program and Hamilton Food Share. Tax receipts are issued for donations of CA$20.00 or more.
