Event Details
The 2026 Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K is a running event offering both in-person and virtual options. The in-person event takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Discovery Centre located at 57 Discovery Drive in Hamilton, Ontario. The available race distances are 10 km and 5 km.
In-person participants can pick up their race kit at the Stoney Creek Running Room store on March 12th and 13th, or on race day at the venue. Early registrants receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, available in men's and women's sizing, and a finisher's medal.
The event supports two charitable organizations: the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, for its Mental Health and Addictions Program, and Hamilton Food Share. Non-perishable food items are collected at the race.
Virtual Option
The virtual race can be completed anywhere between February 26th and March 31st, 2026. Virtual participants also receive the shirt and medal. Results can be tracked and submitted via the ASICS Runkeeper™ app or manually on the event's results page. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
