Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K, Hamilton ON, March 14 2026
The event offers in person and virtual participation from the Discovery Centre at 57 Discovery Dr, Hamilton ON. Distances offered are:
- Frigid 10K, double loop
- Frosty 5K, out and back
In person participants receive a race kit that includes a medal and, for early registrants while supplies last, a long sleeve technical shirt available in men's and women's sizing. Additional event merchandise is available in limited quantities, including a quilted running vest in several colors.
Race kit pickup is scheduled on pre race dates at the Stoney Creek Running Room at Mountain Locks Plaza and on race day at the Discovery Centre. If the in person event cannot proceed as planned, it will be switched to a virtual race; refunds will not be issued and participants will still receive their race kit and may complete and submit results virtually.
The virtual event can be completed between February 26 and March 31 2026. Virtual results can be tracked and submitted using the ASICS Runkeeper app or by direct submission. Virtual participants receive a finisher shirt and medal and may opt to have their kit mailed or pick it up during scheduled pickups.
Donations support the Mental Health and Addictions Program at Joseph Brant Hospital and Hamilton Food Share. Tax receipts are issued for donations of 20.00 CAD or more. Non perishable food items will be collected at the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
