The Gobbler 10 km, 5 km, and Kids 1 km Run
The Gobbler is a Thanksgiving Day morning running event in Southern Utah that includes races for different age groups and distances. Distances offered are listed below.

The event is family oriented and includes park based entertainment and activities such as bounce houses for children. Each participant receives a Gobbler T shirt and sweatband, an officially timed result, a souvenir finisher medal, and a post race 3 inch round pie. Division and overall awards are presented after the races.
Organizers moved to a new course and location with wider roads and one way traffic to reduce congestion. A Turkey Toss fundraiser takes place after the races; organizers state 100 percent of those proceeds go to an event charity choice and Challenged Athletes Foundation. The longest turkey toss wins a cash prize of 150 dollars and the toss uses a mock turkey rather than a real bird. Turkey Toss registration is handled at packet pickup or at the post race contest and can be paid with cash or Venmo.
