Event overview
The Frosty 5K takes place on December 20, 2025 in Sarasota, FL with start and finish at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Rd. The event offers an in-person 5K on a paved road course through the adjacent neighborhood. The course is described as wide-open and well supported, with no grass or paths and all asphalt surfaces. A virtual 5K option is also available; virtual results may be submitted between December 9 and December 31, and virtual race packets are mailed the week after the live event.

Logistics and extras
Entry fees vary by date: in-person fees are listed as $35 from Aug 1 to Dec 1, $40 from Dec 2 to Dec 12, and $50 the week of the event. The virtual entry fee is $45. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt in gender-specific and youth sizing; guaranteed shirt sizes require registration by December 1, 2025. Awards include gun-time overall awards for male and female, youth overall (14 and under), age-group awards by chip time, and category awards from Masters through Veteran Grandmasters.
