The Frosty 5K : Twin Lakes Park, Sarasota
The Frosty 5K takes place on December 19, 2026, with start and finish at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota, FL 34241. The in-person course runs through the adjacent neighborhood on a road course surfaced entirely in asphalt; there are no grass sections or unpaved paths. The course is described as wide-open and supported.
The event offers an in-person Frosty 5K and a Virtual Frosty 5K. The virtual option allows participants to run any time between December 9 and December 31 and submit results online; virtual race packets are mailed the week after the live event.
Finishers in the in-person race receive a custom finisher medal. A long-sleeve race shirt is provided in gender-specific and youth sizing; registrants who meet the organizer deadline of December 1, 2026 will have a guaranteed shirt size. Awards are given by gun time for overall male and female and youth overall (14 and under), and by chip time for age groups; additional categories include masters through veteran grandmasters. Prizes are available for most creative Frosty costumes. A post-race celebration includes food and beverages.
