The Fox and The Turkey : event details
The Fox and The Turkey is a running event held in Downtown Batavia on November 27, 2025. It is organized by Fox River Trail Runners (FRTR) and noted as the 29th edition of the event, held on Thanksgiving Day. The event uses downtown start and finish locations.

FRTR will donate $5 from each 4-mile registration to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. Participants have an opportunity to make additional donations at registration. At the 2024 event, the race raised $14,000 for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. FRTR is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. 4-mile participants who do not reach the approximately 1.5-mile point by the course cutoff will be diverted and complete an approximately 3-mile course; diverted participants are not eligible for age-group awards.
