Event

The Ferriby 10 is a road race organised by City of Hull, scheduled for 25 January 2026 in Skidby, East Yorkshire (Beverley Road, HU16 5TR). The event is listed as the Ferriby 10 and has been held annually since 1954. Entries close on 30 December 2025 and the standard race entry fee is £28.00. There is a £2 discount for England Athletics affiliated runners. From 2022 a cut-off time of 2 hours 30 minutes is applied to allow roads to be reopened. In the event of race cancellation all entries will automatically be rolled over to 2027.

History and course

The race began as a staggered start handicap on a favourite local training route and became an open race in 1957. The course was changed in the 1990s after construction on the A164 and now starts from Skidby. A record of 753 finishers was set in 2015. Current course record times are 50:42 (men) and 58:12 (women). The winning times in 2025 were 51:45 (men) and 58:12 (women).
