Viking Pest Control Walkington 10k 2026
Beverley AC stages the 10 km road running race in Walkington on Friday 10 July 2026. The route is described as an undulating rural loop that passes through Little Weighton and returns to a finish on the village playing fields. Race headquarters are on Walkington Playing Fields, off Beech View, Walkington, Beverley.
Chip timing is provided by Sports Timing Solutions and prizes are awarded based on chip times. Individual prizes include 1st-5th male and female, plus age-category prizes for U19 and masters categories V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70 and V75 and over. Team prizes are for first and second placed male and female teams, with three runners to count and club vests required; team prizes may not be awarded on the night while results are verified.
Entrants must be aged 15 years or older on the day. There is a 90 minute time limit for the 10 km. Entry fees are £15.50 for UKA affiliated club members and £17.50 for other entrants. Race numbers and timing chips are collected on the night. All finishers receive a memento.
Race t shirts are available to purchase separately for £10, they are ethically sourced and ordered only to match paid orders. The cut off for t shirt orders and size changes is 17 May.
