Viking Pest Control Walkington 10k - 10 July 2026
Beverley AC stages a road running event in Walkington on Friday 10 July 2026. The race distance is 10 km and the course follows a rural, undulating loop to Little Weighton before returning to Walkington for a finish on the village playing fields.
Race headquarters are on Walkington Playing Fields, off Beech View, Walkington, Beverley. Chip timing for the 10 km is provided by Sports Timing Solutions. Entrants must be at least 15 years old on the day. There is a 90 minute time limit to complete the race.
Prizes are awarded based on chip times. Categories include overall 1st to 5th male and female, age-group awards (U19, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65) and veteran categories for V70 and V75 plus. Team prizes are listed for 1st and 2nd placed male and female teams with three runners to count; club vests must be worn. Team prizes may not be presented on the night to allow result verification.
Entry fees are £15.50 for UKA Affiliated Club Members and £17.50 for other entrants. Race t-shirts are available separately at £10; orders and size changes close on 17 May. All finishers receive a memento. The event holds a UKA licence for 2026 and the organiser provides a risk assessment and a course map.
