Viking Pest Control Walkington 10k
Organized by Beverley AC, this road running race follows an undulating route through a rural landscape. The course begins on Little Weighton Road and takes participants on a loop toward Little Weighton before returning to Walkington. The event concludes with a finish on the village playing fields.
The race headquarters is located at the Walkington Playing Fields, situated off Beech View in Walkington, Beverley. This location serves as the hub for the event, where participants can collect their race numbers and timing chips on the evening of the race.
Course and Participation Information

The event is held under a UKA Licence and utilizes chip timing to record participant results. Entry is open to individuals aged 15 years or older on the day of the race. There is a specific completion time limit of 90 minutes for the course.
Awards are presented based on chip times for several categories. These include the top five male and female finishers, as well as first-place awards for various age groups ranging from Under 19 to Vet 75+. Team prizes are also available for the first and second-placed male and female teams, with three runners counting toward a team score.
Participants have the option to purchase ethically sourced and environmentally friendly race t-shirts separately. All finishers receive a memento to mark their completion of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
