South Cave 10k 2026
The South Cave 10k takes place on 26 July 2026 and covers a 10 km route that starts on the drive of the 19th century Cave Castle, passes through the historic town of South Cave, continues through the countryside to the village of Ellerker, then loops back to South Cave. The course includes a couple of sharp climbs and concludes with a lap of the local playing field. Finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt.
The event is organised by Kingston Upon Hull Athletics Club Road Runners with support from the local Pavilion Committee, which provides facilities and event expertise. The Bob Reay shield records the names of the first male and female finishers and recognises the contribution of a well-known local runner.
Entry for the South Cave 10k is priced at £25. Editing details and transferring entries are possible until 19 July 2026. The event lists its UKA licence status as TBC. Entrants are deemed to have familiarised themselves with and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to UK Anti-Doping authority in their application and enforcement for 12 months from the date of entry.
