South Cave 10k 2026
The South Cave 10k takes place on 26th July 2026. The route starts on the drive of the 19th century Cave Castle, continues through the town of South Cave, then goes into the surrounding countryside to the village of Ellerker before looping back to South Cave. The course includes a couple of sharp climbs and concludes with a lap of the local playing field.
The event is organised by the Kingston Upon Hull Athletics Club Road Runners and is intended as a community event for South Cave. The local Pavilion Committee is providing facilities and sharing event organisation support. A commemorative shield will record the names of the first male and first female finishers and recognises the contribution of a well known local runner.
Entrants receive a medal and a t shirt. Entry for the 10k is priced at £25.00. Editing of entrant details and transfer of entries is available until 19th July 2026. The race holds UKA License number 30932. All entrants are subject to the UKA Anti Doping Rules, which apply for 12 months from the date of entry.
