South Cave 10k 2026
The event on 26th July 2026 is a road race over 10 km that follows a route from the drive of the 19th century Cave Castle, through the town of South Cave, then across the surrounding countryside to the village of Ellerker before returning to South Cave. The course includes a couple of sharp climbs and finishes with a lap of the local playing field. Participants receive a medal and a t-shirt after completing the race.
The race is organised by Kingston Upon Hull Athletics Club Road Runners with local support from the Pavilion Committee. It is presented as a community event for South Cave and includes a commemorative shield that records the names of the first male and first female finishers.
Event administration details include a UKA License number 30932. Entrants are deemed to be familiar with and bound by the UK Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of those rules for 12 months from the date of entry.
