Ultra Trails - Yorkshire Wolds Ultra
The event is a roughly 54–55 km circular route starting and ending on the edge of Pocklington at Kilnwick Park Ground. The course visits the villages of Givendale, Bishop Wilton, Kirby Underdale, Thixendale, Huggate and Fridaythorpe and follows several lesser used trails through the Wolds. The route includes multiple climbs and runs through grass meadows and valleys with open views.
Navigation and tracking are provided. Participants receive a GPX file and the route is available via the OpenTracking website. Premium OpenTracking GPS tracking with live timing and splits will be used, and key junctions are marked with yellow tape and large yellow correx signs.
On-course support includes first aid medical cover and four indoor checkpoints with toilet facilities. All checkpoints are stocked with vegan friendly and gluten free nutrition; one checkpoint offers hot drinks and there is an option to leave a non-returnable food drop bag at an indoor checkpoint.
Facilities at the venue include changing rooms and toilets at the start and finish, showers at the finish and free on-site parking. At the finish, participants receive a finishers medal with a choice of an eco-wooden medal or a wildflower seed medal; alternatively no medal can be chosen and three trees will be planted. A reclaimed waymark post trophy is awarded to podium finishers in the female and open classes. Optional technical tee is available in unisex or female fit.
The event has a minimum age of 20 on the event date. Entry opened 4 August 2025 and closed 28 June 2026; the event is currently full. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
