The Hardwolds 40

The Hardwolds 40 is a challenging running event taking place over a weekend in July 2025. The race covers a distance of 44 miles, following the scenic Hudson Way and Wolds Way through picturesque landscapes, market towns, and historic villages. Participants have 20 hours to complete the course and can choose to run with a support crew or unsupported.

The event features well-stocked checkpoints, including options for hot food and drinks. Upon finishing, competitors receive a medal and a T-shirt. Entry fees vary, and a drop bag system is available for dietary needs.
