The East Coast Track and Field Championships
The East Coast Track and Field Championships take place on June 12 and June 13, 2026 at Franklin High School in Somerset, New Jersey. The meet includes a broad program of track and field events for multiple age and competition groups.
Events scheduled include sprints (100 m, 200 m, 400 m), middle and long distance races (800 m, the mile, 3000 m, 3200 m, 5000 m), hurdles, relays including a 4x100, a Chocolate Milk Mile, plus horizontal and vertical jumps and throws such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus and javelin.
Competition is organized across several divisions. High school divisions are Championship, Emerging Elite, Sophomore, Freshman and Open. Men and women have Elite, Open and Masters divisions. Youth age groups are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16, with the 8th grade rule applied for youth eligibility. Some events and divisions have entry standards.
The meet is USATF sanctioned. Results will be recorded with fully automatic timing by Blue Ridge Timing and submitted to major results platforms including Milesplit, TFRRS, WA and Athletic.net. Registration categories are used for medaling purposes only and divisions may be combined to balance competition and scheduling. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
