Sankalpa 5K Run and 2K Walk
Sankalpa, in collaboration with Plainsboro Township, organizes an annual community running and walking event at Plainsboro Community Park on June 6, 2026. The event is in its fourth year and last year Sankalpa donated the event proceeds to the township. A rain date is scheduled for June 7, 2026.
The event offers two separate routes that share the same start and end area near the park parking lot by the dog park and playground on Park Drive. The course follows Park Drive onto Scotts Corner Road and turns back near the intersection of Friendship Road and Broadway Road; cones will mark the turnaround.
Distances:
- 5K run: two loops with the same start and finish point near the dog park.
- 2K walk: one loop with the same start and finish point near the dog park.
Registration opens February 7, 2026 and closes May 25, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00. Sankalpa is a New Jersey based nonprofit founded on May 30, 2019 that focuses on activities related to the environment and community wellbeing in Middlesex and Mercer County.
