Sankalpa 5K Run and 2K Walk
Sankalpa 5K Run and 2K Walk takes place on June 6, 2026 at Plainsboro Community Park in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The event is organized by Sankalpa in collaboration with Plainsboro Township and is held for the fourth year. A rain date is scheduled for June 7, 2026.
Event distances:
- 5K run two loops with the same start and finish near the dog park.
- 2K walk one loop starting and ending near the dog park.
Both routes begin and end near the dog park or the playground on Park Drive. The course follows Park Drive onto Scotts Corner Road and turns around near the intersection of Friendship Road and Broadway Road. Cones will mark the turnaround point.
Registration opens on February 7, 2026 and closes on May 15, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00.
Sankalpa is a New Jersey based nonprofit founded on May 30, 2019 with a mission to inspire healthier and more sustainable local communities in Middlesex and Mercer County. The organization is non-political and non-sectarian and focuses on environment related activities that aim to improve quality of life.
