Event Overview
The East Bank Run 5k & Team Beer Mile is a community event in Bossier City's East Bank District on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Proceeds benefit two local organizations: Community Renewal International, which focuses on neighborhood relationships, and The Providence House Shreveport, a family shelter.
Events and Course
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5k: A 5 km race starting in front of BeauxJax Crafthouse.
- Team Beer Mile: A two-person team event for participants aged 21 and over, taking place behind BeauxJax Crafthouse. Teams can be all-male, all-female, or coed.
- 5k + Team Beer & Bubbly Mile: A combination of both events.
- Sleep In Supporter: A donation option that includes a race shirt.
All events take place within the East Bank District.
Participant Information
Pre-registered participants receive an official race T-shirt. Guaranteed shirt size requires registration by April 3. Packet pickup is available on April 16-17 at Sportspectrum in Shreveport and on race day at BeauxJax Crafthouse. There is no race day registration for the Team Beer Mile.
Awards and Post-Race
The 5k awards overall male and female winners, as well as first-place male and female in standard age groups. The Team Beer Mile awards the 1st and 2nd place overall teams. The event concludes with awards, drinks, food, and music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
