Run With The Force 5K
Run With The Force 5K supports Shreveport Homeschool Sports (Shreveport Force) and the student-athletes who train, compete, and grow through the program.
The event takes place on 09/30/2026 at 3131 Arthur Teague Parkway in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Distance is 5K (3.1 miles). The event is listed as a run or walk and the course is described as beginner friendly and family friendly. Participants of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
Shreveport Force provides homeschool students in Northwest Louisiana with opportunities to compete in organized athletics at the middle school and high school levels. Founded in 2012 by local parents, the program fields teams in Cross Country, Track and Field, Basketball, and Volleyball.
Proceeds from the Run With The Force 5K support equipment and uniforms, training facilities, travel to competitions, and program development for future athletes.
Awards will be given for male and female competitors in these age groups: 10 and under; 11 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 and over.
The event is presented as a community celebration that includes running, walking, volunteering, and sideline support, all contributing to local homeschool athletic opportunities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
