2026 RRRR Summer Fun Run Series
The Red River Road Runners present the 2026 Summer Fun Run Series, an eight-event series held from June 4 to July 30 at several parks in Shreveport and Bossier. The series visits Stoner Boat Launch, Ford Park, Walker Place Park in Bossier, Southern Hills Park, Querbes Park, North Bossier Park (Brownlee), A.C. Steere Park, and Betty Virginia Park. This is the 36th consecutive year of the Fun Run Series.
Format options are offered for participants:
- Short Course: starts at 1 mile, progresses weekly to 5K finale.
- Long Course: 5K each week.
- Single runs available as long course only.
The standard series registration fee covers all eight races and event amenities. Registrations received by May 21 will receive a t-shirt. The series also provides freeze pops and watermelon at events. Paid club members receive a $20 registration discount. The maximum family fee for the series is $65; family means all living in the same household.
A youth program called YOUth FIT is available for ages 7 to 17. That program fee includes club membership, Monday practices, and Thursday fun runs, and the program is limited to 100 participants. Registration policies include no changes to short-course or long-course selection after registration and no refunds if events are cancelled; shirts will still be issued.
