The Drop - Liverpool is organised by Organic Adventure Ltd and is scheduled for 14/06/2026 at Liverpool Watersports Centre, 110 Mariners Wharf, Queens Dock, Liverpool, L3 4DG. Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 15-mile
- 10-mile Options include solo entry or entry as part of a team.
Format, rules and logistics
On registration, participants hand in electronic devices and receive a race number and an emergency bag. Competitors are transported to an undisclosed drop-off location while blindfolded or wearing blackout safety goggles. From the drop-off they must find their way back to the event centre; distances are measured as the crow flies, so actual route distance may be longer. No map, GPS, compass or outside help is allowed unless explicitly provided by the organiser. Breaking the seal on the emergency bag leads to disqualification.
Live GPS tracking is available as an optional, paid feature separate from the entry fee; trackers are accurate within about 5 metres but can be affected by tall buildings and placement. All trackers must be returned after the event or a replacement fee of £175 may apply. Parking is available in the town centre; the nearest railway station is about a 10 minute walk and a bus station is about 5 minutes from the event headquarters.
