The Dramathon
The Dramathon is a Speyside single malt marathon event taking place on 17th October 2026 along the Speyside Way. The main route runs from Glenfarclas distillery to Glenfiddich distillery and passes several other distilleries along the way.
Runners can choose from multiple distances and formats. Depending on the distance completed, participants can pick up corresponding miniature whisky bottles at the finish. An athlete event guide and a race video are available for information about the course and event arrangements.
Distances and formats:
- 42 km The Full Dram. Start from Glenfarclas distillery on Ben Rinnes.
- 21 km The Half Dram. Start near Tamdhu; same route as the full marathon.
- 42 km We Dram relay for teams of four.
- 10 km The Wee Dram. Start from Aberlour to Balvenie and Glenfiddich.
