About the race
The Speyside Windfarm Challenge, held near Knockando in Moray, Scotland, offers three events: a Trail Half Marathon, a 10K, and a 1-mile kids' run. The half marathon and 10K courses are exposed trail routes requiring appropriate attire, with aid stations and marshals positioned along the route, including a water station at the main climb. The children's race is a flat out-and-back on a quiet tarmac road.
Organized by local charities to support education and sports, the event fosters a community atmosphere with refreshments and prize-giving at the finish near Margach Hall.
