The Devil Half Marathon

The Devil Half Marathon is a trail event in the Derwent Valley on 9 August 2026, starting and finishing at the Land of Oak and Iron, Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, Blaydon upon Tyne NE21 6RU. The race distance is 13.1 Miles.

The course gains 1666 ft of elevation and passes through hidden valley trails. It includes the Clockburn Lonnen within the first mile and features varied off-road terrain and steep sections.

On-course photography is provided. After the race there will be refreshments, music, and a finisher’s T-shirt for participants. Cash prizes are offered for podium male and female finishers.
