The event on 9 August 2026 is a half marathon of 13.1 miles called The Devil HM, starting and finishing at the Land of Oak and Iron, Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, Blaydon upon Tyne NE21 6RU, Great Britain. Registration opens 1 January 2026. Cash prizes are offered for podium male and female finishers.
Course and race-day services
The course runs on trails in the Derwent Valley and includes 1666 ft of elevation. The route passes through the Clockburn Lonnen within the first mile and is described as having demanding terrain. On-course photography, post-run refreshments, music, and a finisher’s T-shirt are provided.
