The Dam 5 Miler
The Dam 5 Miler takes place on November 21, 2026 at Center Hill Recreation Area in Lancaster, Tennessee. The course begins at the recreation area and travels over Center Hill Dam before entering Edgar Evins State Park.
Within the state park the route follows roads bordered by a native pollinator corridor on the approach to the Visitor Center Office. The course runs the same general route in both directions and includes road inclines at several points.
The event distance is 5 Miles. The race is chip timed and has aid stations approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles. All finishers receive a finisher medal and runners receive a race t shirt, with late registrations receiving shirts if available. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, to the top three male and female finishers in 10 year age brackets, and to Masters and Grand Masters categories for ages 40 and up and 50 and up respectively.
Registration opened on November 11, 2025 and closes October 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $50.00. The event has a no refund policy except in the case of race cancellation due to public health concerns.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at 158 Resource Lane, Lancaster, TN and the morning of the race at Ike Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
