Fiddler 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

The 28th annual Fiddler 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place on July 4, 2026, in downtown Smithville, Tennessee, at 100 E Church St. The event offers two distances and is organized around Church Street with start and finish areas near the First Baptist Life Enrichment Center and Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Pre-registration is available from April 17 through July 2, 2026, with different fees for adults and youth. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a shirt and may pick up race packets early; shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register by July 2 at noon. Early packet pickup for pre-registered entrants is scheduled for July 3 at the First Baptist Church Life Enrichment Center.

Check-in, pre-registered check-in, and race day registration occur on July 4 in the parking lot of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home near the finish line on Church Street. The 5K course is certified and the event is professionally timed. Strollers are welcome but should line up at the rear. Pets are not allowed. The 5K course is open for 60 minutes.

Awards for the 5K include overall male and female, male and female masters 40 and over, and standard age-group prizes. Fun Run awards focus on participants age 12 and under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
