The Cordwell Colossus

Cordwell Colossus is a 20-mile trail run in Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District, looping through the Cordwell and Linacre Valleys starting at Holmesfield Village Hall. The route combines woodland tracks, farmland, and rural trails with about 840 metres of ascent and sweeping views from high ground. The course is marked in less obvious sections, and a GPX file and route notes are available.

There are two well-stocked checkpoints and finish refreshments, plus a medal for all finishers and prizes for the first male and female. Open to runners and fast walkers 18+, with a 6-hour time limit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
