Course and logistics

The route is just over 20 miles with 840 m ascent, formed as an anticlockwise loop through the Cordwell and Linacre Valleys. Terrain includes hilly farmland, woodland, rural trails, lanes, single track and trods. The route is marked on less obvious sections; GPX files and route notes are available on the race webpage. Basic navigation skills are desirable. There are two well stocked checkpoints with sweet and savoury items, and further refreshments will be available at the village hall for finishers. Car parking is free for participants in the village hall car park. Registration and event terms are managed through the event organiser’s entry system.
