Event Overview
The Cordwell Colossus is a 20-mile summer trail run in North Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District. The route is a loop through the Cordwell Valley and into the neighbouring Linacre Valley, taking in trails, paths, and woodlands. Views from the high ground are described as terrific. Route conditions range from runnable trails and lanes to single track and trods.

The course is largely unmarked, though some trickier navigation sections are marked. Route notes and GPX files are provided for participants to download. Participants may wish to bring their own paper map for backup navigation.
