Flagg Moor Run
The Flagg Moor Run takes place on Friday 14 August 2026 in Flagg, within the Peak District National Park. The event is organised by Flagg Parish Council and is presented as a relaunch of the Flagg Moor Run last held in the late 1980s. The race distance is 5.5 miles and follows a new route that uses fields, lanes and country roads around Pomeroy and Chelmorton before returning to the village.
Course, entry and eligibility
The route is designed to keep runners off road as much as possible and includes about one and a half miles of steady downhill returning to Flagg. Minimum age to enter is 16 on the event date. Online entries opened on 23 August 2025 and close on 13 August 2026. The standard entry fee is £7.00 and the entry-on-the-day fee is £8.00.
