Event Details

The Flagg Moor Run is a fell race set in the Peak District National Park. It is a relaunch of an event last held in the late 1980s. The event takes place on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Route

The race follows a new 5.5-mile (approximately 8.85 km) route starting from Flagg. The course is designed to be mostly off-road, taking runners through fields, lanes, and country roads. The route goes towards Pomeroy and Chelmorton and includes a steady downhill section of about a mile and a half back to the village. A map of the route is available online.

Participation

The minimum age for participants is 16 years. Online entry opens on August 23, 2025, and closes on August 13, 2026. The pre-entry fee is £7.00, while entry on the day of the event costs £8.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
