Flagg Moor Run
The Flagg Moor Run is a fell race located in the village of Flagg, situated within the Peak District National Park. This event marks the relaunch of a historic race that was last held in the late 1980s. The competition is organized by the Flagg Parish Council and is open to participants aged 16 years or older.
The course covers a distance of 5.5 miles and is designed to take runners off-road as much as possible. The route traverses the landscape towards the areas of Pomeroy and Chelmorton. Participants navigate a variety of terrains, including fields, lanes, and country roads. The final section of the race features a steady downhill stretch for approximately one and a half miles, leading back into the village.
Registration for the event is available both via pre-entry and on the day of the race at a different rate.
