The Belper Rover 2026
The Belper Rover is a scenic circular fell race of approximately 30 km held on footpaths, bridleways and public roads around Belper. The route passes ancient Roman roads, farmland, ancient woodland and sections of the Midshires Way.
The course is open to walkers and runners. The terrain makes the event unsuitable for wheelchair users and dogs. All finishers receive a medal and a memento.
Key event details include a maximum of 300 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, and entries close on 20/08/2026. Transfers are permitted under the organiser terms up to 8 August. There are no refunds and no deferrals. The event is staged under UKA rules and earphones are not permitted.
Location for the event is Belper Meadows Sports Club, Bridge Street, Belper, DE56 1BA. Parking at the venue is limited and car sharing is suggested where possible.
