The City of Coconut Creek 5K Butterfly Run
The City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a 5K Butterfly Run on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Tradewinds Park, Grandiosa Pavilion, 3600 W Sample Rd, Coconut Creek, FL. The event is open to all ages and must be completed in person on the race date. The first 700 registrants will receive a Sport Tek long sleeve race shirt and the first 700 finishers will receive a finisher medal.

- 5K - Youth (17 and under)
Registration and awards information: registration begins on October 16. Registration for the listed events closes January 31, 2026 at 12:00 pm EST. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the first male and female Coconut Creek resident.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available at Coconut Creek Recreation Complex, Creek Fit North, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard on Friday, January 30 (12:00 pm to 7:00 pm) and Saturday, January 31 (8:00 am to 3:00 pm), or at Tradewinds Park on race day (5:30 am to 6:30 am). There will be no race day registration. Walkers and strollers are allowed toward the end of the race pack. No pets are allowed on the race course.
