North Creek Explorer 5K Run-Walk
The North Creek Explorer 5K Run-Walk is an annual community event held in Coconut Creek, Florida. Now in its 18th year, this Saturday evening race takes place at 4601 NW 71st Place. The event features live music and food for participants and supporters.

Participants receive a swag bag that includes a long-sleeve dri-fit shirt with the event logo. Medals are awarded to the first 175 finishers. Following the completion of the course, an awards ceremony recognizes the top three overall male and female runners, as well as the top three winners in various age groups. Special recognition is also given to the top male and female first responders.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program. This program provides students aged 14 to 18 with training and experience related to careers in law enforcement. Proceeds from the race contribute to the costs of uniforms, equipment, travel, and regional competitions for the Explorers.
