North Creek Explorer 5K Run & Walk
The 17th annual North Creek Explorer 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Coconut Creek, Florida. The event is based at 4601 NW 71st Place, Coconut Creek, FL 33073. The race weekend includes live music and food and offers community interaction with Coconut Creek Police Department officers.

Registration fees change over time: $25 starting August 1, $35 starting October 1, $40 starting November 1, and $45 on race day. The event awards top overall and age-group finishers, including separate awards for first responders; the first 130 finishers receive a medal. All runners receive a swag bag with a dri-fit logo shirt. Race day registration and packet pick up will be available.
Proceeds benefit the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program. The program serves students ages 14 to 18 and provides experience and training related to careers in law enforcement. Funds will cover uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions and supplies, with a fundraising goal of $5,000. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
