CBTE The Charm Bracelet Marathon
CBTE The Charm Bracelet Marathon is scheduled for 11 April 2027. The event is based at Redcar Beach Base and finishes in the fishing town of Whitby, following the northeast coast of England.
The marathon route is listed as 26.57 miles and runs south from Redcar beach to Whitby. Runners pass the public artwork known as the "Circle" sculpture between miles 7 and 8, travel through coastal villages, run on sand and high cliffs, and follow sections of the Cleveland Way. The course is a trail route and includes mud, sand, rocks, trees and uneven surfaces. Total ascent for the route is 3,263 ft.
Entries open on 21 February 2026 and close on 20 March 2027. The event has 300 places available and a minimum age of 18 on the event date. Entry fees are listed as £47 for affiliated runners and £49 for non affiliated runners. The event reports 31 participants entered so far. A generous 10 hour cutoff is in place to accommodate walkers.
Prizes include trophies for first male, first female and first non binary finishers, plus first male and female in the 50, 60 and 70 age categories.
