CBTE The Charm Bracelet Marathon
The Charm Bracelet Marathon is a trail running event located on the north east coastline of the United Kingdom. The route covers a distance of 26.57 miles (approximately 42.7 km) and follows a point-to-point course. Participants start at the Redcar Beach Base and travel south to the finish line in the fishing town of Whitby.
The course utilizes sections of the Cleveland Way and features various types of terrain. Runners should expect to encounter mud, sand, rocks, and wooded areas. The route includes approximately 3263 feet of total elevation gain. A notable landmark along the way is the "Circle" sculpture, located between miles 7 and 8, which provides the inspiration for the event's name.
The event is open to participants aged 18 and older, with a total capacity of 300 places. It is designed to be inclusive, offering a 10 hour cutoff time that accommodates walkers as well as runners.
