The Cache Slam
The Cache Slam is a timed challenge linking three trail ultras and trail marathons in the Cache Valley region. It aggregates each athlete's finish times from the Logan Peak race, the White Pine 50, and the Bear 100 to produce a combined result. The event is listed for September 26, 2026, and is associated with Logan, UT and Hyrum Gibbons Park.
The three races are geographically connected: Logan Peak serves as the start of the Bear 100, and White Pine shares trail with the middle sections of the Bear 100. The races also appear on the calendar in a sequence that allows one event to serve as preparation for another.
Awards include prizes for the top male and top female finishers in the Cache Slam and participation awards for other athletes who complete all three events within a single calendar year. Registration for the Cache Slam is offered at no cost for the inaugural year. Entry into the individual races remains separate; no special consideration will be given to Cache Slam entrants for admission to any of the three races.
