Event

The Cache Slam is a regional trail running challenge centered in Logan, Utah, based at Hyrum Gibbons Park. It combines the finishing times from three local trail ultras/trail marathons: Logan Peak, White Pine 50, and the Bear 100. Logan Peak serves as the start of the Bear 100, and White Pine 50 shares trail with the middle section of the Bear 100. The three races are scheduled on the calendar so they can serve as sequential training and competition opportunities.

Participation and awards

The 2026 edition is presented as an inaugural, no-cost registration year for the Cache Slam. To complete the challenge in a single calendar year, a participant must have viable entry or waitlist status for all three component races and record finishes in each event. No special consideration is given to Cache Slam entrants for gaining entry into any of the three races. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and top female finisher by combined time, and participation awards will be given to others who complete all three races within the same calendar year. Prizes are collected at the Bear 100 finish line. Registration for the Cache Slam opens January 1, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
