The Cache Slam

The Cache Slam is a season-long challenge based in Logan, Utah that uses the combined finish times from three regional trail ultras and trail marathons: Logan Peak, the White Pine 50, and the Bear 100. The three events overlap geographically: Logan Peak is also the start of the Bear 100, and White Pine shares trail with the middle portion of the Bear 100. The races are scheduled on the calendar so they can act as training and performance opportunities relative to each other.

The Cache Slam offers prizes to the top male and top female finishers based on combined times, and participation awards to other athletes who complete all three events within a single calendar year. Entry into the individual races remains separate; no special consideration is given to Cache Slam participants for entry into any of the three races.

For eligibility participants must hold entries in the three component races or be in viable positions on their waitlists, and they must register for the Cache Slam. Registration for the inaugural year is offered at no cost. Registration for the Cache Slam closes Tue, Aug 25 at 12:00 PM MT. The organizer may add an additional race to the series in the future.
