Event Overview
The Wicked Way 5K is an evening Halloween-themed run held in Logan, Utah. This event serves as the second installment of the Holiday Racing Series. The activities take place at Willow Park, featuring a combination of athletic competition and seasonal festivities such as live music, games, crafts, and free face painting for those participating in the races.
The course utilizes the Logan River Trail, leading participants from Willow Park to Rendezvous Park. The trail is decorated for the occasion, functioning as a haunted forest with trick-or-treat stops located along the route. While the event is part of a series, individual registration is available. The race proceeds regardless of weather conditions, including rain, snow, or hail.
Distances
- 5K: A 3.16-mile course along the Logan River Trail.
- 1K: A 0.5-mile Kids Fun Run held on a separate course around the field at the Willow Park stage.
Participant Information
Participants in the 5K receive a unisex t-shirt, a race bib, and an entry into a raffle. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The event includes an optional costume contest for runners who choose to dress up.
The kids' event is a free run where children have the opportunity to collect candy at various points along their short course. Additional family-oriented activities available on-site include a kids' craft station and various Halloween activities. Packet pickup is conducted on the day of the race at Willow Park.
