Great Pumpkin 5K
The Great Pumpkin 5K is a fun run held in Downtown Logan, Utah, organized in partnership with the Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival. Participants can choose between two distinct divisions for this event:
- 5k
- Haul a Pumpkin 5k
In the "Haul a Pumpkin" division, competitors carry a pumpkin along the entire course. These pumpkins are provided to the participants at the check-in area. As a fun run, this event does not provide official finisher times for the participants.
The race route begins behind Sol Speak Yoga on West 100 North and travels past restored homes on historic Center Street. Due to festival preparations, the start and finish lines are located in the parking lot area behind the studio to ensure a safe environment away from vendor load-in traffic.
Registration for the event includes an official race bib, a swag bag, and entry into a raffle. The race serves as the first installment of the Holiday Racing Series. Following the run, participants can visit the Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival, which features over 150 vendors, food trucks, and family activities such as face painting and a giant pumpkin weigh-off.
Participants can collect their race packets at Sol Speak Yoga during designated times on the day before the event or on the morning of the race. Parking is available on 100 North and in the lot across the street from the studio, as the immediate lot behind the building is reserved for festival vendors.
