The Bumble Plod
The Bumble Plod is a fun trail event held on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH. The event is described as undulating and runs over a one lap course on farm terrain.
The course is on privately owned land and goes through fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. The Bumble Plod is held at the same time as The Bell Plod; the organisers state the only difference between the two events is which finish medal is awarded.
Participants must be at least 4 years old. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. The event uses rear support so participants are not left alone at the back of the field. Completing the one lap course qualifies participants to claim event goodies.
Entry is limited to 100 places and entries close on 16 July 2026. There is an option for some camping across the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026. The event is presented as a relaxed trail run where runners and walkers may choose their own pace. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
