The Bumble Plod
The Bumble Plod is a fun trail run set on a privately owned farm at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH. The event uses a one lap course across fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. It is described as an undulating trail and is open to runners and walkers. The Bumble Plod is held alongside The Bell Plod; the two events differ only in which medal is awarded to finishers.
Children aged 4 years and over may enter; children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Entrants complete the one lap course to receive event goodies and a medal. The event entry fee is listed as £10.00, entries are limited to 100 participants and entries close on 16/07/2026. There is an option to camp over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026. The event is organised by Running Events Devon and takes place entirely on farm land provided by the landowner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
