The 24 Cider Challenge
The 24 Cider Challenge is a solo 24 hour running and walking event held at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8DH on 17 July 2026. The event takes place on privately owned farmland and uses undulating trail terrain through fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks.
Solo entrants have 24 hours to run or walk as much as they wish. Completing a single lap within the permitted time qualifies as a finisher; finishers can collect a medal and event goodies. The event is open to participants aged 18 years and over. Entry is limited to 40 runners and entries close on 15 July 2026.
Camping is available as an option over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2026. The organiser also schedules other event formats across the weekend including a 5k.ish run, 12 hour night challenge, 12 hour daytime challenge available solo or in teams of 2, 3 or 4, the Bell and Bumble Plod, and an Apple Plod 10k.ish.
