HOT-TO-GO (5 or 10 miles)
HOT-TO-GO is a forest trail running event at Hurn Forest, starting and finishing at Hospital Services Cricket Club in Ringwood. The route follows well maintained trails and uses hardstanding track so trail shoes are not essential.
Distances offered:
- 5 miles
- 10 miles
The course is a 2.5 mile out and back lap. The 5 mile entry is one lap and the 10 mile entry is two laps. An aid and drinks station is located at the start and finish with a selection of savoury and sweet items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups and ask participants to bring their own container. Hot drinks are available inside the clubhouse; donations to the cricket club defibrillator fund are appreciated and attendees are asked to bring their own mugs.
Toilets and a space to leave bags are available inside the cricket club. Number pick up takes place at race registration before the event. Minimum ages are 16 years for the 5 mile event and 17 years for the 10 mile event.
Twenty percent of entry fees will be donated to Forestry England to support forest and trail maintenance. The event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
