The Bones 5K - Salisbury, MD
The Bones 5K is a nighttime trail race on October 30, 2026, at Pemberton Historical Park in Salisbury, Maryland. The event is presented by Algonquin Ultras in partnership with Wicomico County Recreation & Parks and is described as the inaugural running of the Bones 5K.
The course uses the park's single-track trails and includes sandy sections, root-covered tread, and wooded scenery. The forest will be decorated for Halloween, and the race is intended as a family-friendly, festive evening with occasional surprises along the route. Participants are encouraged to carry a headlamp or flashlight and many wear Halloween costumes; prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
Professional chip timing will be used. Early registrants are eligible to receive an exclusive event shirt. Entry fee is listed as USD 38.50. Registration is scheduled to close on October 29 at 11:59 PM ET.
