Event overview

The Delmarva Ultra Challenge (DUC) is a 100K trail event in Pocomoke, MD, taking place beginning February 6, 2026. The format spans two consecutive days: an overnight 50K segment on Friday night followed by a second 50K on Saturday morning. Combined times from both segments determine the top male and female finishers. Registration for the event closed on December 22, 2025.

Format and entry

The race consists of two back-to-back 50K trail runs. The first 50K starts at an undisclosed location that is revealed to entrants a few hours before the run. The second 50K uses the traditional Algonquin race course. There are 30 open entry spots; final selection of entrants is made by the event organizers. To be considered, applicants must be registered for the Algonquin and have completed a 50-mile or longer race within the last year, finishing within that race’s official cutoff.
