The Blue 2 Blue Challenge

The Blue 2 Blue Challenge is a 50k trail run event in New Haven, CT. The course is an out-and-back route starting at West Rock Playground. It connects two of Connecticut's technical "Blue" trails: the Regicides Trail at West Rock and the Quinnipiac Trail. The route includes sections of the Westville Feeder Trail and passes landmarks such as High Rock, Mad Mare Ridge, Mt. Sanford, and Roaring Brook Park.

The course has a significant amount of climbing and technical terrain. Aid stations are located at multiple points along the route. The event has a 10-hour cutoff, with specific intermediate cutoffs at the turnaround point and later aid station. Crews and pacers are not allowed.
