The Big Superhero Run
The Big Superhero Run is a superhero-themed fun run. The event takes place at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, British Columbia.
Three distances are offered:
- 1 km (Kids Run)
- 5 km
- 10 km
The route tours the Middle Arm Trail. It starts at the Oval and winds along trails beside the water, offering views of the mountains and proximity to the airport. The course features mild inclines and a mixture of gravel and trail pathways. It is accessible for strollers and leashed dogs.
Registration includes a personalised running bib with a custom "Hero Name," a finisher's medal, a hero eye mask, and access to a water station. A bag check is available. Prizes are awarded for fastest runners, best costume, best social media post, and best custom hero name.
The event fundraises for the Richmond Hospital Foundation. The start and finish area is at the Richmond Olympic Oval, accessible by local transit, bicycle, or walking trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
