Event details
The Disco Dash is a 5K night run on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Westminster Pier Park, 6th Street, New Westminster, BC. The course is an out-and-back route along the waterfront boardwalk that hugs the Fraser River and turns around at the Quay. The path is mostly flat with gentle curves and passes city lights; the start and finish are at Pier Park. The event is scheduled the day after Halloween.
Organizers encourage participants to wear bright or reflective clothing, costumes, glow sticks, or LED gear to enhance the night-time atmosphere. The event supports KidSport New West; donations can be made during registration or from the event page. The fundraising display on the event page shows $393.07 raised (89% of a stated goal).

Registration shows 241 spots remaining for the 5K. Ticket pricing windows and fees listed on the page are:
- Early Bird: $55.94 (Sept 15 – Sept 30)
- Regular: $61.33 (Oct 1 – Oct 18)
- Late: $66.71 (Oct 19 – Oct 30)
The organizer states there are no refunds and no deferrals. Transfers are allowed only through the Race Roster platform and bibs cannot be used by someone with a different name. There is no waitlist. Full refunds are available only if optional refund insurance was purchased. If the event is cancelled for reasons such as weather or other major incidents, the organizer will provide a discount toward next year’s event.
