Bowen Mudder 2026
Bowen Mudder 2026 is hosted at Island Pacific School on Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island), the ancestral and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). The event features forested fun runs with mudder style obstacles over short distances and proceeds support the Island Pacific School bursary program.
The course begins and ends at Island Pacific School and runs through coastal temperate rainforest with classic mudder obstacles. A group warm up will take place before the runs. Costumes and team themes are encouraged. The 5K field will be released first, followed by waves of teams for the 2K event. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 5K for both under 18 and over 18 categories, plus awards for best costume and team spirit.
Event logistics note that shuttle bus service will operate between the Snug Cove ferry terminal and Island Pacific School and will return to Snug Cove after the runs. Registration and bib number pickup happen in front of the school; the same day bib provides a 20% discount at the Bowen Pub. Post race hot chocolate and snacks are donated by the Bowen General Store and Medicine Wheels Food Truck will offer full service with an Indigenous flair.
