The Big Jungle Run

The Big Jungle Run is a themed fun run held annually at Burnaby Lake Park in Burnaby, BC. The event features 1km kids' runs as well as 5km and 10km routes suitable for all ages and abilities, including strollers and leashed dogs (starting in the last wave). The course winds through scenic trails with minimal inclines, combining gravel and woodchip paths surrounded by lush greenery.

Participants receive a personalized bib with a custom "jungle name," an animal mask, and a wooden finisher's medal. The event also offers entertainment, prize giveaways, and supports the local charity Backpack Buddies. It promotes a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in a natural setting.
