Vancouver First Responders Half Marathon - Trail Edition
The Vancouver First Responders Half Marathon - Trail Edition is scheduled for November 1, 2026 at Sasamat Trail, West 16th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, Canada. The event offers multiple distances and team options and raises funds and awareness in support of first responders and their families. Commissionaires BC is listed as the title sponsor and MultiSportsCanada is involved with the event series.
Distances offered include:
- 21K half marathon
- 10K trail run
- Frontline 5K run/walk
Entries include a short sleeve event shirt for registrations before October 15, a custom finisher medal, chip timing with live results, fully stocked aid stations, post-race food and refreshments, and eligibility for event draw prizes. Team entries are available for the 21K and 10K as teams of four where all members run together; team results are calculated by averaging the four individual times and individual times are also provided. The team format is not a relay.
The event lists fundraising partners including the Canadian Mental Health Association BC Division and Wounded Warriors Canada, with a combined fundraising total shown and a target goal. Online registration will close at the end of October 2026 and entries are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable. Age rules require participants to meet minimum ages by the end of 2026 and underage participants need parental permission; all participants must show picture ID at check in.
